About Me

About Me

My favorite thing in the world is learning. I have an insatiable curiosity. No subject is taboo for me. I drive my husband (and everyone else around me) crazy with my questions. When I was five years old, my mom told me that I was “the WHYing-est kid” she’d ever known. Fortunately for me, my family and friends love (or at least tolerate) my squirreliness. My hobbies reflect my inner squirrel. I love crocheting, painting, gardening, learning a new skill, traveling to new-to-me places. You could find me in our living room with a glass of red wine watching a random TEDtalk or in the Central Library’s archive section looking for an old map.

These days I’m living my best life in my dream spot, my adopted city of San Diego, with my fantastic husband, Jack. I have wonderful grown children and fabulous grandchildren. Of course they are all smarter than me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
